Purpose

 

The Manager, Enterprise Growth Marketing, Media plays a pivotal role in driving performance through the strategic execution of paid media acquisition campaigns. This role is deeply embedded in the Digital Marketing team and is responsible for planning, launching, optimizing, and reporting on paid media initiatives across key platforms including Google Ads, Meta, DV360, and Search Ads 360. The incumbent will lead the end-to-end execution of paid media campaigns—from audience strategy and creative trafficking to budget pacing and performance optimization. With a strong focus on acquisition and conversion, this role is accountable for delivering measurable business outcomes such as unit sales, revenue growth, and customer engagement.

 

Success in this role requires a hands-on media operator who is fluent in digital buying platforms, understands the nuances of campaign setup and pacing, and can troubleshoot and optimize in real-time. The ideal candidate is data-driven, customer-centric, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where they can seamlessly shift between strategic planning and tactical execution.

 

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

  1. Campaign Execution and Management
  • Execute paid media campaigns across platforms, with a primary focus on Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, ensuring accurate setup, targeting, and pacing
  • Manage end-to-end media execution, including trafficking, QA, and go-live processes, while continuously optimizing for performance metrics such as CTR, CPA, ROAS, and conversion rate
  • Monitor and manage campaign budgets both in-platform and offline, ensuring alignment with monthly and quarterly forecasts
  • Oversee billing and invoicing processes, including reconciliation of media spend, coordination with finance and vendors, and resolution of discrepancies
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely ad copy creation, trafficking, and approvals across all channels
  • Contribute to overall squad efforts to achieve forecasted sales and revenue goals through strategic media execution and budget stewardship

 

  1. Be the Paid Media Champion
  • Act as the subject matter expert in Paid Media, with deep expertise across social, search, display, and programmatic channels
  • Integrate paid acquisition efforts into a holistic omni-channel strategy, ensuring consistency across touchpoints and alignment with broader marketing goals
  • Stay current with industry trends, platform updates, and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation and testing
  • Recommend and implement A/B tests, audience segmentation strategies, and creative variations to drive incremental performance
  • Identify team development opportunities, providing training and coaching to elevate digital buying capabilities and platform fluency

 

  1. Collaboration
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing Planning, .com, Customer Journey Managers, Content, SEO, and Ecommerce to enhance page relevancy, content quality, and overall digital experience.
  • Work closely with the Analytics team to develop and maintain performance dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights.
  • Lead media reporting efforts, including weekly and monthly performance reviews, campaign wrap-ups, and executive summaries that highlight key learnings and optimization opportunities.

 

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

  • 5–8 years of experience in performance marketing, with a strong background in campaign execution, media operations, and budget management.
  • Proven hands-on working experience with:
    • Google Ads Manager
    • Facebook Ads Manager
    • Google Display & Video 360 (DV360)
    • Google Campaign Manager 360 (DCM)
    • Search Ads 360
    • Microsoft Power BI
    • Pinterest Ads Manager
  • Strong understanding of media billing workflows, including reconciliation, vendor coordination, and financial reporting.
  • English Language is a must, and French proficiency is an asset.
  • Previous Financial services experience is an asset.

 

Soft Skills Required:

  • Solid understanding of performance marketing channels, technology and analytics that is also current with an ever-changing digital landscape
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills and high level of strategic thinking
  • Superior writing, research, presentation and project management skills
  • Ability to manage, collaborate and/or influence cross-functional groups, team members and senior stakeholders, both based within Canada as well as outside of the market
  • Broad understanding of and passion for the sports and fashion/entertainment industry not required but an asset

 

Education & Certificates:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Marketing, Business or related field
