Are you on the path to earning your CPA designation? Our Accounting Analyst Internship/Co-op at our Montreal office offers hands-on experience and a direct pathway to the CPA Stage Experience Program. This opportunity is ideal for motivated undergraduate students seeking real-world experience in accounting and finance. As an intern/co-op you'll support daily operations, collaborate with professionals to improve automation processes, and assist in preparing management reporting decks. This nurturing environment will help you develop essential skills for a successful accounting and finance career.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of back-office operations and effectively execute daily controls.
  • Support daily production activities within operations, providing critical assistance to the team.
  • Collaborate with technical experts to design and improve automation processes for greater efficiency.
  • Assist in the preparation and compilation of management reporting decks.
  • Analyze and address complex operational challenges.
  • Gain hands-on experience with Power Apps and other major ABOR platforms.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related fields; actively pursuing CPA designation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform tools, including PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Fully bilingual (French/English): The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.
