The Program Support Manager, MFS-NCR will manage, develop, implement and evaluate MFS-NCR programs, services and initiatives to meet the needs of the military community, develop and maintain strategic partnerships within the military and other service delivery agencies, as well as review programs and services to ensure compliance and consistency with Military and Veteran Family Services Program (MVFSP).
The Program Support Manager, MFS-NCR will develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and program guidelines, as well as lead project teams in the development and implementation of service/support programs and review policies, strategies, regulatory guidelines, programs costs/budgets and evaluation tools.
Education, Certifications and Licenses
Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Family Studies, Education, Communications, Marketing, Management or a related field
AND
Several years of experience in managing family or community development services
Experience
In working with a cross-section of the community
In developing, implementing and overseeing family related programs
In measuring and analyzing service performance
In personnel administration
In project management
In planning and conducting presentations, workshops and briefing sessions
In contract negotiations and administration
In developing, applying, interpreting policies and procedures
In non-violent crisis intervention, an asset
Competencies, Skills and Abilities
