Job Title:

Part-Time Receptionist

Schedule:

  • Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Sundays: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM


Job Summary:

A customer-focused organization is seeking a Part-Time Receptionist to provide a welcoming and professional front-desk presence. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, managing daily office operations, and supporting a visually engaging space. The Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors and plays a key role in ensuring a positive and seamless experience for all guests.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet all guests in a warm, courteous, and professional manner.

  • Answer and route incoming calls to appropriate team members.

  • Manage appointment bookings and track visitor traffic using scheduling tools.

  • Maintain the front-desk area and shared spaces to ensure a clean, organized, and professional environment.

  • Monitor and replenish refreshments and hospitality offerings as needed.

  • Provide general information to walk-in clients and direct them to relevant staff.

  • Support the coordination of small events, meetings, or in-office experiences.

  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, email correspondence, and sample organization.

  • Perform light housekeeping and support visual merchandising/display upkeep.


Qualifications & Experience:

Required:

  • 4–5 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role.

  • Strong respect for confidentiality and understanding of professional discretion.

  • Reliable, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Friendly, helpful attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Strong communication skills—both verbal and written.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Fluent in English.

Preferred:

  • 6–7 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Additional training or certification in office administration or reception is an asset.


Key Skills:

  • Polished and professional presence.

  • Excellent customer service and phone etiquette.

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and managing shifting priorities.

  • Positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach.

  • Interest in design, retail, or hospitality is a plus.

  • Flexible availability, particularly on weekends.
