We are seeking multiple detail-oriented Forensic Records Management Assistants for a temporary, fully onsite role within the public sector. This is an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for a 6-month extension. The position requires a high level of accuracy, discretion, and adherence to established procedures while managing sensitive information.
Oversee the secure destruction of scientific records and samples.
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all actions, including updates to files, information management systems, and databases.
Carry out assigned tasks under the supervision and direction of managers.
Ensure strict confidentiality and compliance with non-disclosure requirements.
Proven ability to work systematically and efficiently while maintaining accuracy in a high-volume environment.
Experience handling 5,000+ records, case files, or scientific samples in previous roles.
Experience collaborating with legal teams on record adjustments, redactions, or secure destruction.
Familiarity with historical records management functions.
Experience managing both physical and electronic records, including updating multiple platforms.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to sustain focus on repetitive tasks over extended periods.
Ability to follow structured, step-by-step procedures with precision.
Educational background in forensics, science, investigation, or equivalent training/work experience.
