Salary: From 120000 to 165000 per Annum
 

Our client is seeking an IT Manager, Architecture to lead the development and execution of enterprise IT architecture and data management strategies. Reporting to the IT Director, this role is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure, scalable, and cost-effective IT infrastructure. The IT Manager will ensure data and information management practices are aligned with business objectives, governance standards, and security requirements. This role will also act as a key liaison for ERP systems, external partners, and vendors, while providing leadership across enterprise architecture, Azure cloud services, and IT governance.

This position will have 2 direct reports and will be primarily responsible for technical architecture. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of IT data/information management architecture aligned with business and IT strategies.

  • Define and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, Azure cloud environments, and governance standards.

  • Oversee ERP-related systems, integrations, and vendor interactions.

  • Ensure security, compliance, and accessibility of information while managing risk and disaster recovery plans.

  • Develop IT policies, procedures, and budgets; oversee audits, security investigations, and performance reporting.

  • Manage staff and contractors, ensuring accountability, quality, and delivery of assigned tasks.

  • Identify opportunities for software/system improvements and lead implementation initiatives.

  • Support business planning, KPI reporting, and technology adoption across the organization.

  • Champion emerging technologies and industry best practices to improve IT operations and business processes.

  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, partners, and project teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (advanced degrees an asset).

  • 10+ years of IT leadership experience in architecture, enterprise systems, and data/information management.

  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI, Fabric services).

  • Familiarity with TOGAF, Zachman, or similar frameworks.

  • ERP systems experience with strong knowledge of applications, products, and databases.

  • Proven track record in information security, IT governance, and budget management.

  • Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, or Microsoft certifications are preferred.

  • Ability to work extended hours and travel occasionally as required.

Other Details:

  • Must be eligible to work in Canada and able to meet security clearance requirements.

  • Hybrid work model: 3 days in office (Tuesdays required), 2 days remote.
