We are seeking a versatile IT Project Manager with a “jack-of-all-trades” mindset to lead and support a variety of IT initiatives within the Health Technology Assessment (HTA) team, with possible cross-team responsibilities. The successful candidate will manage implementation, migration, and transformation projects in healthcare technology, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards.

An immediate priority will be leading the transition from MS Project Online (sunsetting) to Birdview, a cloud-based project and resource management platform. This role will involve overseeing the implementation, configuration, adoption, and change management processes to ensure a smooth transition and long-term success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership & Delivery
    • Plan, manage, and deliver IT projects from initiation through to implementation and post-deployment support.
    • Drive the Birdview onboarding and migration project, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and successful adoption.
    • Coordinate across technical, business, and clinical teams to align IT initiatives with organizational priorities.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
    • Partner with internal teams, including HTA and other potential departments, to gather requirements and manage expectations.
    • Facilitate clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support for new tools and processes.
  • Process & Tool Management
    • Define and refine project management methodologies, workflows, and reporting standards.
    • Support change management and adoption strategies for Birdview and future IT transformations.
    • Monitor resource allocation, risks, dependencies, and financials using Birdview’s capabilities.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and process optimization.
    • Stay current with emerging technologies and project management best practices to enhance project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Education & Certification
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • PMP certification required.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, with a proven track record in IT implementation, migration, or transformation projects.
    • Experience in healthcare IT environments and understanding of regulatory/compliance considerations.
    • Hands-on experience with project management tools (MS Project Online, Birdview, or similar platforms).
  • Skills
    • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
    • Proficiency in project scheduling, risk management, and financial tracking.
    • Comfort working across technical and business teams, translating needs into actionable plans.

Nice-to-Have

  • Prior experience implementing or managing Birdview or similar SaaS project management tools.
  • Knowledge of BI dashboards, data-driven reporting, and healthcare analytics.
