Our client in the medical manufacturing industry is looking for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join their team on an 1 year contract. This role requires fluency in both French and English.

Location: Woodbridge, Ontario
Work Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM, fully on-site

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to all incoming calls, faxes, and emails promptly.
  • Efficiently process customer orders received via EDI, fax, email, and phone using SAP, ensuring accuracy in both languages.
  • Manage the picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
  • Prepare and send customer invoices.
  • Oversee product returns and credit processes.
  • Generate online waybills for customer orders and internal shipments.
  • Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and reorder as necessary.
  • Monitor and audit customer shipments, proactively resolving any delays.
  • Input all relevant forms into the system.
  • Maintain a billing log for units not yet invoiced, based on registry notifications or communications from sales representatives.
  • Provide the ‘on-call’ list to the answering service.

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a medical device sales or office administration context.
  • Fluency in both French and English is a must.
  • Post-secondary education preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on diplomacy and conflict resolution.
  • Proven ability to foster and maintain relationships with corporate departments and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional prioritization, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Energetic, self-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Experience with MS Office.
  • Familiarity with SAP is considered an asset.

Physical Requirements:

  • This role involves physical tasks, requiring the employee to be active away from the desk.
  • Comfortable lifting items up to 40 lbs to assist with packaging orders in the warehouse.
