We are looking for a dedicated and results-oriented Debt Relief Manager to join a leading debt solutions and financial recovery firm. This role is perfect for someone passionate about helping individuals and businesses regain financial stability. You will play a key part in guiding clients through their financial recovery journey, managing debt solution cases, and contributing to the growth of the Consumer Debt Solutions practice.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with Clients: Respond to inquiries from individuals seeking debt relief through Zoom, phone, email, or in-person meetings. Assess their needs and recommend the best debt solution options.
  • Manage Cases: Oversee bankruptcies and consumer proposals, including preparing, reviewing, and submitting required documentation.
  • Build Relationships: Maintain and develop relationships with referral sources such as credit counsellors, lawyers, and accountants. Promote the company’s services to grow trust and community presence.
  • Ensure Quality: Monitor cases carefully to maintain high service standards and anticipate any issues or risks.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work with internal teams and departments to ensure a smooth process for clients.

What We’re Looking For

  • Knowledge of debt solutions processes, including the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (or willingness to learn)
  • Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in the Insolvency Administrator’s Course (asset)
  • Excellent communication, listening, and negotiation skills
  • Strong time management, organization, and ability to work independently
  • Integrity, professionalism, and a compassionate approach to helping clients
  • A results-driven mindset with the ability to achieve goals
  • Experience working with debt relief cases, credit counselling, or financial recovery services is an asset
