Our federal government client is looking for an Information Management Consultant to lead the rollout of digital file governance practices, support tool adoption, and deliver targeted training. This role focuses on standardizing information organization and improving compliance across platforms such as SharePoint and OneDrive.

Tasks

• Assess current file management practices and identify areas for improvement

• Develop a practical information management strategy and change management plan

• Design and deliver training materials and sessions for staff on IM tools and practices

• Support implementation of metadata tagging, file naming, and folder standardization

• Advise on tool use, including duplicate file finders and metadata sorters

• Document training results, provide progress reports, and submit final project recommendations

Qualifications

• Certified in information governance (e.g. CIP, CRM, or equivalent)

• Experience administering SharePoint or OneDrive for structured file management

• Experience delivering SharePoint or OneDrive training within the last five years

• Experience using digital IM tools for sorting, metadata, and file analysis

• Valid Secret level of security clearance
