The Ministry of Public Safety and Emergency Services has significant oversight and involvement in the public security and emergency services through its various divisions and operations. The department is responsible for the administration of law enforcement, correctional services, policing and police oversight and public safety. The Ministry supports crime prevention and restorative justice programs, as well as programs and services to support victims of crime, including those affected by domestic violence and human trafficking. The Ministry also coordinates large scale emergency and disaster prevention, mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery programs and initiatives.

If this sounds like you, the Training Academy’s Program Administrator position may be the opportunity for you!
Nestled in a residential community overlooking the North Saskatchewan river, the Training Academy (TA) promotes excellence in training and instructor development by establishing training standards, and in partnership with stakeholders, facilitating the delivery of induction programs and other courses for peace officers in Alberta. In this role, you will have an opportunity to contribute to the safety and security of Albertans.
The Program Administrator position consists of proficient coordination of course information, registration, records and logistics to maximize the participant experience. This position will provide program administration for Police Training, Sheriff Recruit Training and Correctional Services Induction Training – Adult/Youth and Community.

This position is required to work in office located in Edmonton.
