We are seeking a skilled Moodle Administrator to support a short-term upgrade project. The successful candidate will lead the migration of Moodle from version 3.11 to 4.5, ensuring system stability, data integrity, and smooth adoption of the new platform.

  • Duration: Approx. 1 month

  • Hours: Part-time (approx. 18-20 hours/week)

  • Location: Remote

  • Start: ASAP

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform full data backup and ensure successful restoration in the upgraded environment

  • Manage the Moodle upgrade from version 3.11 to 4.5

  • Test and validate core functionality, plugins, and integrations post-upgrade

  • Provide troubleshooting and technical support during migration

  • Deliver knowledge transfer or training for internal stakeholders on Moodle 4.5 features

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience with Moodle administration and upgrades, ideally including version 4.x

  • Strong knowledge of data backup, migration, and recovery processes

  • Familiarity with plugin compatibility and customization

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently within tight timelines
