Agilus is recruiting for a Receiving Inspector in the Micro-Electronics Manufacturing in Ottawa, Ontario. The Receiving Inspector performs product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs. They are responsible for performing packaging line and manufacturing inspections, as well as sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials. A typical day: Conducts repetitive inspection of product/materials against known standards, procedures and checklists Identifies and segregates non-conforming material Contributes to identifying, articulating and escalating problems or issues for Technical Support or Engineering, and assists in gathering requested information and proof necessary to help establish the root cause of problems and determine corrective action Recognizes discrepancies in documentation or problems with quality, product, or process, and recommends changes Conducts product inspection, documenting as required, according to specific procedures Properly executes on inventory control, cycle counting, and computer transactions Identifies, reads/interprets and applies complex ECO modifications or other instructions Requirements: Typically requires a minimum of 1-2 years’ related experience High School Diploma, minimum Soft skills: Strong communication Total compensation: $19.00 hourly Weekly pay 4% paid out weekly in lieu of benefits and vacation Additional opportunities with Agilus and our Client(s)
