About the Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join a vibrant residential property team in Ottawa’s downtown core. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective tenants and the go-to support throughout their leasing journey. You’ll work closely with property managers and team members to ensure tenants feel welcomed, supported, and valued from inquiry to move-in and beyond.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced residential rental environment where your organizational skills and attention to detail make a tangible impact. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the tenant experience, maintain high standards for property readiness, and contribute to a culture of service excellence within the property management sector.

Your Responsibilities
You’ll respond to tenant inquiries via phone, email, and in person, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
In this role, you’ll schedule and conduct property tours for prospective tenants, showcasing units effectively.
You’ll manage leasing processes, including preparing, reviewing, and maintaining lease agreements.
You’ll inspect units to ensure readiness, marketability, and a positive tenant experience.
You’ll create and follow up on work orders for payments, renewals, and repairs.
You’ll maintain daily activity reports for the Property Manager and manage tenant parking assignments.
You’ll provide professional and courteous customer service throughout the tenant lifecycle.
Skills and Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in leasing or residential rental roles, apartment rental experience preferred
Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Self-motivated and able to manage tasks independently
Experience with property management systems such as Hopem, Building Stack, or RentSync is an asset
