Our Federal Government client is seeking qualified Programmer/Analyst resources to support software systems development, upgrades, redesigns, and ongoing maintenance. These resources will be engaged on an as and when required basis to address temporary and immediate needs, ensuring operational continuity and supporting the organization’s transition to modern, cloud-based SaaS solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
System and Documentation Updates – Maintain and update documentation, WIKI pages, DevOps tasks, and system artefacts to reflect new implementations, upgrades, and changes to software applications, databases, cloud configurations, and system architecture.
Development and Enhancements – Design, develop, and implement new functionalities, enhancements, upgrades, and changes across applications, databases, APIs, scripts, components, and cloud-based systems.
Maintenance and Support – Perform bug fixes, incident reporting (including root cause analysis and preventive measures), and ensure secure, stable operations through updates to SA&A documentation and cybersecurity artefacts to support Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements.
Knowledge Transfer and Coaching – Provide knowledge transfer, coaching, and training sessions, including the creation of supporting materials to ensure effective handover and adoption of best practices.
Qualifications and Skills
A minimum of ten (10) years of experience within the last fifteen (15) years in performing application analysis, design, construction, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting.
A minimum of ten (10) years of experience within the last fifteen (15) years in designing applications in an enterprise-class technical environment of 250 or more users.
A minimum of ten (10) years of experience within the last fifteen (15) years in analyzing functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows.
Assets
Experience working on government or public sector IT projects.
Familiarity with Salesforce-based solutions, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and SaaS application development.
Certifications in Salesforce or other cloud technologies.
