We are seeking a Financial Analyst / Business Process Improvement Specialist and are excited to partner with a client in the non-profit sector for this opportunity. This is a 3-month, FULLY REMOTE contract, and all necessary equipment will be provided. The role supports both day-to-day financial operations and broader process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, system alignment, and collaboration on automation efforts. The position requires close coordination with cross-functional teams to enhance financial systems and reporting accuracy.
Responsibilities:
Provide financial analysis and support for business units such as revenue, marketing, and programs
Conduct detailed reporting and variance analysis to inform management decisions
Standardize internal financial reporting to align with financial statements
Collaborate on the development and implementation of dashboards and reporting tools using business intelligence platforms
Support the creation and rollout of forecasting tools and processes
Identify and address misalignments between budget structures and accounting systems
Assist in integrating financial tools and systems to streamline workflows and enhance data accuracy
Work with technical teams to improve automation of financial data from external applications into core systems
Skills and Experience:
Strong background in management accounting and financial reporting
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manage and interpret complex data
Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI
Understanding of financial system integrations and data flows
Familiarity with expense or travel management platforms such as Concur is an asset
Demonstrated ability to manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills for cross-departmental collaboration
