We are seeking a Financial Analyst / Business Process Improvement Specialist and are excited to partner with a client in the non-profit sector for this opportunity. This is a 3-month, FULLY REMOTE contract, and all necessary equipment will be provided. The role supports both day-to-day financial operations and broader process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, system alignment, and collaboration on automation efforts. The position requires close coordination with cross-functional teams to enhance financial systems and reporting accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Provide financial analysis and support for business units such as revenue, marketing, and programs

• Conduct detailed reporting and variance analysis to inform management decisions

• Standardize internal financial reporting to align with financial statements

• Collaborate on the development and implementation of dashboards and reporting tools using business intelligence platforms

• Support the creation and rollout of forecasting tools and processes

• Identify and address misalignments between budget structures and accounting systems

• Assist in integrating financial tools and systems to streamline workflows and enhance data accuracy

• Work with technical teams to improve automation of financial data from external applications into core systems

Skills and Experience:

• Strong background in management accounting and financial reporting

• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manage and interpret complex data

• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI

• Understanding of financial system integrations and data flows

• Familiarity with expense or travel management platforms such as Concur is an asset

• Demonstrated ability to manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills for cross-departmental collaboration
