We are seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to support a large-scale digital modernization initiative. The developer will work closely with a cross-functional squad to contribute to backend and frontend development, assist in migration efforts, and support user interface enhancements.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the migration to a Django Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) architecture by addressing smaller scoped tasks and bugs

  • Contribute to the implementation of responsive, interactive frontend features using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

  • Support frontend enhancements by improving responsiveness, performance, and cross-browser compatibility under guidance of senior developers

  • Assist in backend improvements by extending or optimizing APIs, debugging, and troubleshooting issues

  • Collaborate on ongoing feature updates and bug fixes across both frontend and backend systems

  • Participate in documentation, knowledge sharing, and cross-team collaboration

  • Enhance technical skills and gradually take on increasing responsibility in development tasks

Qualifications and Skills

  • 1–3 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer (internships or academic projects may be considered)

  • Foundational experience with Python and Django or similar frameworks

  • Basic knowledge of React.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL

  • Proficiency with Git and Git-based workflows

  • Understanding of REST API concepts, testing, and debugging

  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verba

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
