Purpose

 

CID&A Group is at the forefront of leveraging AI, data and analytics to drive informed decision-making and innovation.  The Senior Manager, Data & Analytics Strategy, will play a pivotal role in driving the creation and adoption of our strategy and supporting the execution of strategic initiatives and transformative programs.


Specifically, you will be responsible for:

 

Strategic programs and initiatives (50%)

 

  • Supports execution and delivery of complex programs and projects with proven ability to engage at all levels of the organization and to articulate progress to Senior Leadership
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align priorities, deliverables and drive accountability across teams
  • Design strategic program roadmaps and frameworks, partnering with cross-functional teams across CID&A and stakeholders across the Bank
  • Develop and maintain program monitoring and reporting, including defining key milestones and performance metrics 
  • Drive agenda and content creation for monthly program Steering Committee meetings, and other Executive Committees

 

CID&A Strategy (40%)

 

  • Lead in creation of strategy content and providing advisory support for Senior Leadership
  • Develop clear, compelling, and visually sophisticated PowerPoint presentations that distill complex analyses into Executive-ready narratives, supporting strategic decision making
  • Perform strategic, business and competitive analysis, and propose recommendations 
  • Manage multiple workstreams, including leading problem-solving sessions, workshops and interviews with cross-functional stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Support the crafting, and building out of adoption, of CID&A strategy, across AI, Data and Analytics 
  • Assist with organizing strategy offsites for senior management

 

Strategic support (10%)

 

  • Assist in working with Senior Leadership on content for internal and external events, such as townhalls, presentations, and speaking engagements 
  • Work with Global and Program Communications team to ensure CID&A messaging aligns to the Bank’s strategy.
  • Contributes to, and reviews, reports and updates to executive leadership

Risk Management

 

  • Direct day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with the Bank’s risk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits.  Communicate the Bank’s risk culture and risk appetite statement throughout their teams.
  • Create an environment in which his/her team pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct. 

 

Do you have the skills to enable you to be successful in this role? We would love to work with you if you have:

 

  • Educational background in business or engineering
  • 2+ years post-MBA or 5+ years post-undergraduate experience in Corporate Strategy, Consulting or Data & Analytics
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, challenging and dynamic business environment with demanding timelines
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, data analysis and analytical roles, preferably in a technology-driven environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and compelling messages
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and possess exceptional PowerPoint skills
  • Effectively manage and motivate teams, stakeholders, working groups to achieve goals
  • Drive to succeed with bias towards action and ability to navigate large organizations and build collaborative relationships; Proven ability to engage and manage stakeholders in a complex, matrixed environment
  • Strong curiosity to learn with adaptive and creative mindset

 

Working Conditions

  • Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
