A Security Guard at a hospital is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of all patients, staff, and visitors within the hospital premises. This position requires strong leadership abilities, must be team orientated, have excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of security

Responsibilities for Tactical Security Guard

  • Security Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of facilities and keep detailed reports of any incidents.
  • Incident Response: Respond promptly to any security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, and coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary.
  • Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all security incidents, activities, and personnel movements within the client facilities
  • Public Relations: Must have good communication skills with the public, maintaining a professional, friendly and compassionate demeaner.
  • Training and Development: Complete any and all required training that may be required be site specific duties.
  • Customer Service: Maintain a good relationship with client and staff, and direct any immediate concerns to the Site Supervisor.

Qualifications for Tactical Security Guard

  • Be authorized to work in Canada
  • Hold a valid security license
  • First aid certification required
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout shift 
  • Experience:  Experience in security is an asset but training is available.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in using security technology and equipment.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks such as patrolling, standing for long
