ALCDSB offers a range of FSL programs which focus on the development of communication skills taught in authentic, meaningful contexts. All our programs reflect the Ontario Ministry of Education’s Vision for FSL: Students in English-language school boards have the confidence and ability to use French effectively in their daily lives.
ALCDSB is hiring Qualified/Certified French Teachers for contract positions and day-to-day occasional teaching on the Board’s Occasional Teacher Supply Roster.
Qualifications:
Qualified applicants are in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers and must provide the following documents:
· Cover Letter with Resume
· Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers
· Two professional letters of reference (copies only)
· New or recent graduates - include Practicum Reports (copies only)
· University Transcripts (Undergraduate & B.Ed.)( (copies only)
Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis, and interviews will be held periodically. Note that applications will not be considered without a Faith Reference Portfolio that is current within the last twelve (12) months.
As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must provide a Criminal Background Check (CBC) with vulnerable sector screening current within six months of date of hire.
