We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Specialist with expertise in the Netcracker OSS/BSS suite to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and support of Netcracker applications, ensuring seamless integration with business processes and driving continuous improvements in performance, availability, and functionality.

As a key member of the team, you will act as the bridge between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure the Netcracker platform evolves to meet organizational goals and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, customize, and support Netcracker OSS/BSS modules, including Order Management, Inventory Management, Service Fulfillment, and Billing.

  • Monitor application health and performance; identify, diagnose, and resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Participate in system upgrades, patch management, and release deployments with minimal disruption.

  • Support integration efforts between Netcracker and enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, network management tools).

  • Analyze and optimize workflows to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.

  • Provide Level 2/3 support for incidents and service requests related to Netcracker applications.

  • Partner with Netcracker vendor support for issue resolution and change management.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, and user guides.

  • Assist with training and onboarding for business users of Netcracker systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience supporting or implementing Netcracker OSS/BSS applications.

  • Strong understanding of telecom business processes (order-to-cash, service provisioning, customer lifecycle management).

  • Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL), UNIX/Linux environments, and shell scripting.

  • Familiarity with integration technologies (SOAP/REST APIs, XML, middleware platforms).

  • Working knowledge of ITIL practices and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).

  • Experience with network inventory and resource modeling in Netcracker.

  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Ansible) is an asset.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
