Agilus is recruiting for a Sr. Business Analyst in the Financial Services in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario. This is an opportunity to join a high-profile regulatory initiative within the investment management space. You will partner with project delivery and client onboarding teams, supporting critical compliance and operational projects. The role offers strong visibility with leadership and the chance to drive data-driven, regulatory, and operational initiatives in a fast-paced environment. A typical day: Partner with stakeholders to gather and validate business requirements Lead analysis activities across regulatory and operational initiatives in Capital Markets Plan and manage project deliverables, schedules, and timelines Conduct data mapping and analysis to support business needs Collaborate with technology, operations, and production support teams on solution delivery Contribute to SIT and UAT testing phases, and provide production support post-implementation Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations for senior stakeholders Act as a subject matter expert and support continuous improvement in business analysis practices Requirements: 7–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in the investment management space (buy-side) Proven track record leading large, complex projects in financial services Experience with regulatory initiatives and data mapping Background in operations and production support Ability to manage small-to-medium project initiatives (BA/PM hybrid) Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (requirements and analysis phases) Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and HPQC/HPALM Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Soft skills: Strong relationship-building with both business and technology partners Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment High attention to detail and accuracy Collaborative, team-oriented approach with mentoring capability Self-starter with the ability to work independently and own deliverables Total rewards:
