Purpose
The Associate Director plays a key role in administering and optimizing SharePoint, Power BI, and Power BI Report Builder solutions within the Business Automation Group. This role partners closely with stakeholders and the Business Transformation Group to deliver high-impact solutions aligned with project scope, timelines, and deliverables. The Associate Director ensures seamless execution of automation initiatives that drive operational efficiency and business value.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.

  • Work with the Business Transformation Automation Group to identify solutions to complex problems presented by the business across Global Banking and Markets.
  • Partner with technology and program managers to integrate timelines and deliverables into project plans, create business requirement documents, test scripts, user acceptance testing, project artifacts, identify risks / issues / dependencies, and obtain signoffs.
  • Manage quality control / assurance testing process, issue reporting /resolution, and sign-off / approval of project milestones and deliverables.
  • Build efficiency and productivity tools to help the business automate their processes via SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, and Paginated Reports.
  • Establish clear and achievable objectives, balance competing demands for quality, scope, time, and cost, and adapt specifications, plans, and approaches to the different concerns and expectations of the various stakeholders.
  • Maintain projects that support efficient and effective delivery while maintaining adherence to internal project management standards.
  • Keep day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with the Bank's risk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits. Communicates the Bank's risk culture and risk appetite statement throughout their teams.
  • Builds a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment, communicating vision/values/business strategy, and managing succession and development planning for the team.

What You'll Bring:

  • 2+ years of enterprise-level experience with SharePoint, Power BI, and Power Platform.
  • Background in consulting, financial services, or internal roles within complex organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, technology, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to work independently, solve problems resourcefully, and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Expertise in Power BI dashboard development, paginated reports, and O365 integration.
  • Experience designing databases (SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL Server) and building custom connectors in Power Apps.
  • Strong skills in Power Automate, including packaging and deploying solutions across environments.
  • Ability to gather requirements, create design documentation, and translate business processes into automated workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create user guides and deliver presentations.
  • Strong team collaboration and mentorship capabilities.
