Our Federal Government client is looking for technical architects to lead the design, development, and implementation of digitalization solutions in collaboration with subject matter experts and technical teams. The role will include executing the Digitalization Plan by identifying and delivering practical initiatives, reviewing and improving existing business processes, and formalizing new practices through an intake program.
Roles and Responsibilities
Orientation – Engage stakeholders to understand their business/operational functions, support structures, and linkages; identify common priorities; and set conditions for implementing the Digitalization Plan.
Implementation – Develop and execute the Digitalization Plan, including methodologies, initiatives, change management processes, governance models, and technical environments; ensure alignment with transformation priorities and deliver initiatives across current and future fiscal years.
Solution Development & Support – Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of digital solutions; conduct feasibility assessments; provide technical support; and optimize existing digital processes and tools.
Socialization & Refinement – Consult stakeholders for feedback, ensure solutions meet operational needs, and recommend future digital initiatives to support innovation and change management.
Training – Develop training materials and documentation to support adoption of new or improved digital solutions
Qualifications and Skills
2 years (last 5) in IT Services within garrison or military services
2 years at Government of Canada executive level, working with key IT stakeholders
2 years in IT Service Delivery for large client groups (1,000+ people).
Experience with ITIL-based IT Services.
