Our client in the public sector is hiring for a Contract Support Assistant.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys working in a structured, detail-oriented environment. The successful candidate will support day-to-day administrative and contract-related tasks, ensuring documents, approvals, and records are accurate and up to date. You’ll play a key role in keeping workflows running smoothly between internal teams and external vendors.
Location & work model: Toronto, ON (hybrid)
Schedule/hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Contract duration: 1 year
Prepare and proofread documents, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
Coordinate approvals and track updates for purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
Maintain electronic filing systems, databases, and collaborative sites (e.g., SharePoint).
Provide administrative support to project and procurement teams.
Generate reports and assist with performance tracking.
Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines while adjusting to urgent needs.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with enterprise systems or databases.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances.
