Who you are:

Rogers is seeking a Technical Training Specialist to join the National Operational Execution & Wireless Support Team. This key position, reporting the Sr. Manager of Operational Standards, will provide technical training and guidance to both internal and external teams supporting Rogers Field Operations.

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct technical training needs assessments.
    Research and develop courses, including technical writing for presentations.
    Source, evaluate, and participate in third-party training programs.
    Deliver training in both classroom and virtual environments.
    Develop job aids and standards documentation.
    Support orientation and mentoring of new hires.
    Provide training on Rogers' technical and operational standards.
    Deliver training on network equipment as required.
    Offer training and support for operational systems such as Remedy, Teams, OneVision, ServiceNow, and Power BI.
    Administer SharePoint and manage MS Teams groups, including regular posting of new policies and standards.
    Adapt scope of responsibilities to meet evolving business needs.

 

 

What you bring: 

Minimum of 5 years of technical wireless telecommunications field experience.
Diploma in Electronics Technology or equivalent work experience.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Certifications or proven aptitude in delivering technical content to adult learners.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Willingness and ability to travel and work at various sites as needed.
Detail-oriented with a passion for innovation and exploration.
Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
Skilled in process development and documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Committed to quality, performance, and teamwork.
