Event Support Staff: Our client is seeking 2 Event Support Staff for their conference in Winnipeg.
Event: Conference in Winnipeg
Dates & Times:
Tuesday, September 16 – 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Wednesday, September 17 – 6:30 am to 5:00 pm
Thursday, September 18 – 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
Location: Convention Centre in Winnipeg
Roles and Responsibilities
Assist at the registration desk.
Support with set-up tasks.
Greet attendees, provide directions, and answer basic event-related questions.
Help with badge pick-up and early networking check-ins on Tuesday.
On Thursday, support will mainly involve handing out items and assisting between sessions.
Maintain a polite, professional, and approachable presence at all times.
Assist in prize distribution and general conference logistics as required.
Qualifications and Skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable interacting with a wide range of people.
Reliable and punctual with the ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
Ability to remain calm and flexible in a busy event environment.
Team player who collaborates well with others.
No prior event experience required
