Our federal government client is seeking a Senior Learning Advisor to work on contract in support of the training strategy, development, and implementation for a major technical program. The role involves assessing learning needs, guiding instructional design, and aligning training solutions with project objectives.
Conduct training needs analysis and develop strategic learning plans
Design and refine course materials, qualification standards, and instructional documentation
Support development of training frameworks including initial, conversion, and steady-state training
Evaluate training deliverables and assist in acceptance reviews
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content accuracy
Advise on Learning Management System integration and technology-based learning tools
Facilitate training-related working groups and assist with change management
Contribute to training documentation such as JTARs, TPs, and project RFPs
Monitor training risks and recommend mitigation strategies
Prepare progress reports, lessons learned, and contribute to ongoing program improvement
Graduate degree in education-related field with 5+ years’ experience, or undergraduate degree with 7+ years’ experience
Experience conducting learning needs assessments and developing training strategies
At least two years of experience with simulation-based training solutions
Proven ability to deliver and assess training in areas such as eLearning, blended learning, or instructional design
Recent experience delivering training sessions in at least three relevant subject areas
Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Familiarity with training programs in technical or operational environments
Eligible for Secret clearance and qualified to handle Controlled Goods
Fluent in English and skilled in producing clear training documentation
