On behalf of our client, a highly reputable commercial insurance provider with a long-standing reputation in the Canadian market, we are seeking a Field Sales Specialist – Commercial Insurance to join their growing sales team.
You’ll have the autonomy and independence to build your own success while working remotely each day - whether you're prospecting from home, or out in the field meeting business owners, knocking on doors, and creating opportunities. If you are a driven sales individual with a strong interest or experience in insurance, you will be set for success with a base salary plus commission, and a small portfolio of accounts to service and grow, with the long-term upside of building a strong book of business.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop new client relationships through in-person prospecting, networking, and cold calling.
Book meetings with business owners and provide tailored insurance solutions.
Service a starter book of commercial clients with consistent in-person visits.
Manage accounts across Ontario, while maintaining a steady presence in the GTA.
Work independently while collaborating with a supportive regional sales team.
Attend quarterly team meetings and training sessions in person.
Qualifications and Skills
Proven direct sales experience (insurance, broker, or personal lines preferred; commercial insurance sales experience an asset).
A proactive, motivated, and results-oriented sales professional.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to quickly build trust with clients.
Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle (required).
Insurance license (OTL or RIBO preferred). Licensing support and professional education (CIP, FCIP, CRM) provided.
Broker sales, direct insurance sales, or commercial sales background preferred.
