We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to a variety of digital transformation and data-driven projects. The successful candidate will design, build, and maintain modern data solutions that enable analytics, improve service delivery, and support business decision-making.

Responsibilities

Data Engineering

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines across on-premises and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

  • Create and optimize dimensional models (star and snowflake schemas) to support scalable reporting and analytics.

  • Integrate data from diverse sources including SQL/NoSQL databases, APIs, and files while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and reliability.

  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using tools such as SSIS and Azure Data Factory, including scheduling, logging, and error handling.

  • Automate deployment and testing using Git, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).

  • Manage data lakes and warehouses with strong data governance, access controls, and security best practices.

  • Build curated data marts and fact/dimension tables to enable self-service analytics.

Data Analytics

  • Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights using Python, R, SQL, or DAX.

  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar visualization tools.

  • Build predictive and descriptive models to inform business strategy and improve outcomes.

  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Deliver analytics solutions iteratively in an Agile environment, mentoring team members where appropriate.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 5+ years experience as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or in a similar role.

  • 5+ years working with data integration and extraction across on-premises and cloud sources.

  • 3+ years designing and implementing dimensional models (star/snowflake).

  • 3+ years ensuring data quality, governance, and security.

  • 3+ years with SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and API-based integrations.

  • 2+ years using Git, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and IaC.

  • 2+ years performing migrations across cloud, on-premises, and cross-database environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with application development (Next.js, Node.js, D3.js, GitHub Actions, Build Master).

  • Experience with databases and data integration tools (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse, Talend).

  • Exposure to AI/ML workflows and cloud-based integration (e.g., Databricks, Azure AI).
