Our government client is requesting a Engineer to support National Risk Management planning Drinking Water and Wastewater Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Auditing risk to health and environmental compliance of drinking water and wastewater systems to identify, mitigate and prioritize performance risk factors using industry accepted methodologies
• Recommending, developing and assisting with the implementation of Risk and Quality Management Tools
• Optimizing system performance – by altering process inputs to improve drinking water and wastewater treatment;
• Providing engineering guidance and technical support in accordance with guidelines, policies and regulations;
• Providing recommendations to repair or replace faulty equipment or processes, or both; and
• Participating in design development to retrofit or replace treatment systems, or both, through the review process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Engineering University Degree 
• Certified Environmental Auditor Certification 
• 10 years experience with the treatment, storage, and distribution of potable water
• 10 years experience with wastewater collection and treatment systems.
• Bilingual (English & French)
