Purpose 


•    The Senior Analyst Product Delivery, Product Management, Design & Solutions Global Case Manager supports delivery of the Global AML Transformation program & assigned projects and day to day support activities.
•    Working closely with the Manager Design Strategy & Operational Support, the Assistant Manager will coordinate across the various stakeholder groups including, Technology, AMA, Business Lines (across the Enterprise), AML Risk, PMO, and others (as required), to support delivery or programs, plans, initiatives, and strategies on time and within budget for assigned products/platforms and services in scope.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:


•    Support the Manager DSOS in the formulation of the overall strategy for specific product (Oracle) and journeys assigned, delivering on the strategic roadmap for the platform, prioritizing initiatives and securing necessary resources, leveraging effective collaboration, relationship building, and negotiation leading to "buy in" and decisions supported by relevant stakeholders, 
•    Applies a technical understanding of the assigned platform/product and works with technical teams to formulate the technical solutions and corresponding design documentation. Keeps an eye on the latest technologies and shares ideas on how to use them to improve the product.
•    Understands the product and the core journeys in depth, and can use competition trends to inform and improve the product, drawing ideas from across different industries with help to generate ideas for the product and its delivery
•    Understands the significance of qualitative aspects of the assigned product experience and can guide the user on how the product performs, expressing such through effective design documentation that support end to end understanding, 
•    Collaborate on queries of structured data / large databases assigned and managed, to address business issues and operational support practices ongoing such as logical access, audit retrieval, and production validation activities, 
•    Assists with employing various data techniques and procedures to perform the continuous iteration and analysis of past and current data, to obtain insights about a business challenge / issue, 
•    Balances a product-oriented vs project-oriented approach applying an intuitive understanding of the metrics necessary to use the right metrics to attain business goals, 
•    Participates and supports the product implementation roadmap, 
•    Assist with delivering within the established framework and standards that govern and accelerate our global initiatives, and support optimization, financial accountability, and execution success across the delivery value chain, including aligning portfolio to enterprise delivery framework, 
•    Assist with release production validation, obtaining sign offs, and providing defect tracking, aligning to program priorities for resolution,
•    Contribute to an environment of effective and efficient operations, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet assigned obligations with respect to operational risk & Business Sustainment accountabilities, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct, 
•    Build partnerships globally with First Line, Second Line, Internal Audit, Technology, Data Governance Office, and other key stakeholders in connection with the Bank’s AML/ATF Program, and work collaboratively across functional teams to resolve open issues in a timely and effective manner, 
•    Engage in a testing support role on various levels by reviewing and supporting the Manager and Senior Manager providing feedback on test plans, test cases, analyzing/interpreting test results, and supporting Product Owner Acceptance Testing deliverables.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?  We’d love to work with you if you have:  


•    Bilingual in both English and Spanish REQUIRED
•    Prior Scotiabank experience highly preferred
•     Working experience with change management and influencing stakeholders.
•     Deep analytical, project management and communication experience (strong professional writing and PPT presentation skills).
•     Experience and technical know-how of risk management procedures, processes, and tools. 
•    AML experience and understanding of the Oracle system are an advantage.
•     Proven problem-solving skills, ability to help others organize problem solving. 
•    Proven ability to operate independently and take initiative in supporting a program strategy. 
•    Proven ability in execution of complex and demanding tasks under strict time pressures. 
•    Solid judgment, strong negotiating skills, and a practical approach to implementation – including knowledge of Bank systems. · Ability to balance regulatory requirements with the best interests of the Bank and its customers. 
•    Bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, finance, or similar field. 
•    Understanding Technology UX writing, Inclusive design. · Understanding Human Behavior as it relates to UI design & Business and Product Strategy, Design Thinking.
•    Systems thinking, secondary research and comparative methods, Qualitative User research, Analytics and Statistics, Evaluative Methods and Usability, Prototyping, UI and Interaction Design, Visual Design, Information Design and Information Architecture. · Power BI and Google Cloud; JIRA, Web Content Management, UX wireframing, data programming language such as SQL and Python.
