Agilus is recruiting for a Regional Technical Service Manager – Industrial Machinery in the Laser Equipment Industry in Mississauga, Ontario. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment. Technical knowledge as well as people-management skills and creative problem solving are crucial, as the individual will be expected to facilitate the growth of the department and improve the service provided to our clients. A typical day: Manage client relationships and deliver a top aftermarket customer experience Create AMP quotes and process AMP Purchase Orders Prepare service request quotes Coordinate Regional & Area Service technician schedules and make sure man power is in proper placement daily as needed Coordinate training schedules with the National Service Team to ensure all technicians receive training as appropriate, utilizing showroom machines where applicable Manage vacation schedules of technicians Hire regional and area technicians Utilize experienced technicians to train regional and area technicians Successful candidates will have: Proven experience in a managerial role within a service environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with colleagues and customers Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics; experience with INFOR software is a plus Ability to travel as needed within the region Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges Experience in strategic planning and execution is highly desirable Total rewards: Company pension Dental care Disability insurance Employee assistance program Extended health care Life insurance Mileage reimbursement Paid time off
