Our client working within industry associations is hiring for a Project Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. This position is working full time onsite in Ottawa.
We are seeking a proactive Project Manager to support a multi-year initiative to modernize assessment tools for internationally educated lawyers, Canadian civil law graduates, and others seeking to practice in a common law jurisdiction in Canada. The role focuses on delivering new assessment tools, managing budgets and timelines, leading change management initiatives, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support the implementation of new assessment tools, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Develop project plans, track progress, and prepare reports.
Coordinate meetings and activities with partners, contractors, and consultants.
Develop change management and communication plans to support adoption of new processes.
Liaise with societies, clients, and stakeholders to address inquiries and share updates.
Prepare RFPs and support vendor management.
Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
Qualifications:
University degree or college diploma (law degree an asset).
3–5 years of project management experience; PMP certification an asset.
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Proficiency with MS Office and project management tools.
Experience in regulatory, legal, or association environments preferred.
Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
