Our client, a healthcare organization located in Toronto is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join their team on a 4-month contract, with the possibility of extension. This role requires two days onsite (Monday and Tuesday) and provides support throughout the full recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct reference checks and coordinate interviews (in-person or virtual).

  • Manage background checks, credential verification, and pre-employment testing.

  • Post job openings and assist with sourcing strategies.

  • Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) records and recruitment reports.

  • Respond to recruitment inquiries and provide excellent customer service to candidates and hiring teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.

  • At least 1 year of experience in a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, HR Coordinator, or similar role is strongly desired.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word), ATS, and HRIS systems.

  • Experience with scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks.

  • Experience in healthcare or unionized environments is an asset.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • HR designation is a plus.
