Job description
Our hotel is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Housekeeping Supervisor to join our highly efficient housekeeping team. The Housekeeping Supervisor, will work directly with the Executive Housekeeper to ensure policies and procedures are met and a smooth operation of the Housekeeping Department is realized on a daily basis. We are looking for an ideal candidate who possesses organizational skills, good physical strength and stamina to perform well under pressure. They should also have a strong desire to provide excellent service to guests and take pride in their work. While previous hotel experience is preferred, we are open to considering other relevant experience as well.
Key Responsibilities
• Scheduling and creating daily work assignments.
• Working with Room Checker and Front Desk to ensure the prompt return of clean rooms for resale to incoming guests.
• Promote a culture of well-being and health and safety within the team.
• Inspection of guest rooms and public areas for compliance with established cleanliness, maintenance and set up standards.
• Various administrative duties such as scheduling, payroll and supply orders.
• Supervision, coaching and training of Room Attendants and House Attendants.
• Thorough cleaning of assigned guest rooms within allotted time while adhering to Westin brand standards.
• Maintaining proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Reporting necessary maintenance items for repair to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Exceeding guest expectations by responding in a professional manner to all guest inquiries and concerns.
Requirements:
The hourly rate of pay for this position is $23.00.
