The Food Service Worker supports daily food operations within an educational setting, ensuring students and staff receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This role involves food preparation, serving, sanitation, and customer service, contributing to the overall health and well-being of the school community. Locations include: Dartmouth, Yarmouth, Lunenburg, Pictou, Port Hawkesbury, Sydney. Responsibilities: Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established recipes and portion standards Set up and stock food stations with necessary supplies Wash dishes, clean kitchen surfaces, and dispose of waste properly Provide friendly and efficient customer service Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations Locations include: Dartmouth, Yarmouth, Lunenburg, Pictou, Port Hawkesbury, Sydney You bring: Previous experience in food service or hospitality is an asset Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods Strong communication and teamwork skills Full time availability What's in it for you: $16.50 hourly Day shift, Full time hours Weekly Pay + 4% Vacation pay on every pay Monday to Friday shifts Let's connect!
