Temporary Receptionist – Corporate Office Support
Downtown Toronto (Bloor & Yonge) | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | $23/hour
Contract Duration: September 4 – September 26 | Full On-Site Availability Required
We are currently hiring a Receptionist/Office Support Coordinator for a 3-week temporary assignment with one of our valued clients in a professional corporate environment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a front-facing, dynamic role and is comfortable handling both administrative and light physical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests and employees in a professional and friendly manner; serve as the first point of contact for all visitors.
Maintain a clean, presentable office environment by conducting morning and end-of-day walkthroughs.
Prepare the kitchen area daily (snack setup, coffee machine rinse) and report any maintenance issues as needed.
Issue temporary employee and guest elevator badges; coordinate lobby access.
Manage incoming deliveries and packages, including trips to the lobby and carrier coordination.
Support event and catering setups in coordination with the office team.
Maintain and update the reception handbook with relevant contacts and procedures.
Use Outlook, Teams, and email for communications; light Excel use for badge tracking.
Assist with minor physical tasks, such as lifting boxes or moving chairs (porter support available for larger setups).
Requirements:
Full availability from September 4 to September 26, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Comfortable with light physical activity and being on your feet throughout the day.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, energetic demeanor.
Prior experience in reception, facilities coordination, or office support is an asset.
Must be able to commute to downtown Toronto (Bloor & Yonge area).
