Temporary Receptionist – Corporate Office Support
Downtown Toronto (Bloor & Yonge) | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM |  $23/hour
Contract Duration: September 4 – September 26 |  Full On-Site Availability Required

We are currently hiring a Receptionist/Office Support Coordinator for a 3-week temporary assignment with one of our valued clients in a professional corporate environment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a front-facing, dynamic role and is comfortable handling both administrative and light physical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests and employees in a professional and friendly manner; serve as the first point of contact for all visitors.

  • Maintain a clean, presentable office environment by conducting morning and end-of-day walkthroughs.

  • Prepare the kitchen area daily (snack setup, coffee machine rinse) and report any maintenance issues as needed.

  • Issue temporary employee and guest elevator badges; coordinate lobby access.

  • Manage incoming deliveries and packages, including trips to the lobby and carrier coordination.

  • Support event and catering setups in coordination with the office team.

  • Maintain and update the reception handbook with relevant contacts and procedures.

  • Use Outlook, Teams, and email for communications; light Excel use for badge tracking.

  • Assist with minor physical tasks, such as lifting boxes or moving chairs (porter support available for larger setups).

Requirements:

  • Full availability from September 4 to September 26, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

  • Comfortable with light physical activity and being on your feet throughout the day.

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, energetic demeanor.

  • Prior experience in reception, facilities coordination, or office support is an asset.

  • Must be able to commute to downtown Toronto (Bloor & Yonge area).
