SAP Fiori Consultant

Location: Fully Onsite, Ottawa, ON (Monday to Friday, 7.5 hrs/day)
Term: 8 months (650 hours) — with a 12-month possible extension.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Fiori Consultant to support OC Transpo Facilities Maintenance Branch in optimizing processes, implementing best practices, and delivering comprehensive training and SOP documentation. This role will focus on enhancing worker productivity, ensuring seamless SAP integration, and driving continuous improvement through performance analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and phased migration planning.

The consultant will be responsible for identifying areas for process optimization, improving SAP Fiori efficiency, and delivering actionable system performance insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis of existing SAP data systems and operational processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define future-state workflows.
• Create and update SOPs, training documents, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Deliver user training and conduct regular assessments of effectiveness.
• Review current and future state processes with SMEs and develop detailed flowcharts.
• Analyze system performance metrics and produce regular reports with recommendations.
• Leverage SAP best practices to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, operational efficiency, and system optimization.

• 5 years’ experience with OData services
• 5 years’ experience with ABAP
• 5 years’ experience with JavaScript
• 5 years’ experience with HTML
• 5 years’ experience with Power BI
• 5 years’ experience with CSS
• 5 years’ experience with SAP Hana
• Experience with creating SOPs
• Experience providing user training
• Strong analytical skills and effective communication with stakeholders to meet business needs and drive project success
• Experience in business analysis, project management, and problem-solving

Education & Certifications

• 4-year university degree in computer science, computer programming, and analysis or equivalent
• SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Fiori Application Developer or equivalent
• Accreditation validating business transformation
