Are you ready to lead transformative infrastructure projects that ensure the safety and sustainability of Alberta’s water systems? As a Team Lead (Regulatory) for the Major Capital Projects Branch, you will have the opportunity to deliver high-profile projects, such as the Ghost Reservoir Infrastructure Project, that directly impact Alberta’s communities. This role offers a chance to work on complex, meaningful projects that shape the province’s future.
Reporting to the Project Director, you will oversee the successful delivery of major water infrastructure projects, managing all phases from design to construction. Leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with stakeholders, you will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Your expertise in project management and problem-solving will play a vital role in addressing Alberta’s water infrastructure challenges, including flood protection and drought mitigation.
Your key responsibilities include:
This position requires travel throughout Alberta—typically up to 25% of the work schedule. It offers a varied work environment that includes both field and office-based activities, ideal for individuals who enjoy a flexible and hands-on approach to their work.
