Be at the centre of Bell’s transformation and growth on the Corporate Services team. Enabling our industry-leading businesses requires many teams working collaboratively, such as Corporate Security & Responsibility, Corporate Communications, Human Resources, Procurement, Strategic Business Transformation and Real Estate. You’ll be part of guiding strategic vision and hands-on delivery of the business to drive our business forward and support groups and team members across the entire organization.

Summary

As a strategic HR Business Partner at the Director level, you will play a critical role in aligning HR strategies with the operational and strategic goals of multiple business units across Bell. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, driving talent strategies, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership

  • Collaborate with senior leaders across assigned business units to understand business priorities and translate them into integrated HR strategies.
  • Influence and guide leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management.
  • Lead cross-functional HR initiatives that support Bell’s transformation and growth agenda.

 

Talent & Performance Management

  • Drive talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
  • Support performance management processes that foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Learning teams to ensure the right talent is hired and developed.

 

Employee Experience & Engagement

  • Champion Bell’s employee value proposition and foster a culture of inclusion, innovation, and engagement.
  • Analyze engagement data and lead action planning with business leaders.
  • Address complex employee relations issues with a focus on resolution and risk mitigation.

HR Program Delivery

  • Ensure consistent execution of HR programs and policies across business units.
  • Collaborate with Centres of Excellence (COEs) in Compensation, Organization Development, and Labour Relations to deliver seamless HR support.
  • Monitor HR metrics and provide insights to drive data-informed decisions.

 

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure HR practices comply with employment legislation and Bell’s internal policies.
  • Support certain investigations and manage highly sensitive employee matters with discretion and integrity.

Critical Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a strategic HRBP or leadership role.
  • Experience supporting multiple business units in a large, complex organization.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
  • CHRL or equivalent designation preferred.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid work model with flexibility to support leaders across various Bell locations.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

 

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
