About the Role

Join a forward looking organization as a Senior Data Analyst Advisor, where you’ll play a key role in applying advanced analytics to support business decision-making, process improvement, and performance monitoring. This role is ideal for a technically skilled analyst who can translate complex data into actionable insights—particularly in areas tied to financial performance, operational risk, and internal controls.

You’ll collaborate closely with business, finance, and audit leadership to deliver Power BI dashboards, ad hoc analysis, and models that enable smarter, faster decision-making. This is a project-driven role with a strong focus on analytics—not traditional auditing—best suited for someone who combines data expertise with business and financial acumen.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to support internal controls and audit analytics.
  • Translate technical insights into clear, executive-ready narratives for C-level stakeholders.
  • Apply your knowledge of business finance and audit principles to deliver actionable insights.
  • Work on project-based assignments that support both the SOX program and operational audits.
  • Support the adoption of technology across the audit function, helping to modernize testing and reporting processes.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics roles, preferably within  internal audit or IT audit functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and strong data modeling practices.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to break down technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and executives.
  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • CISA designation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with IT General Controls (ITGC) and Application Controls.
  • Bonus: Big 4 experience or a Master’s in Analytics is a strong asset

Team Structure

  • Reports into the Director of Audit, under the leadership of a VP of Audit
  • Part of a growing internal audit function, including:
  • Operational Audit Team
  • SOX Audit Team
  • New function dedicated to analytics and technology enablement
