Our client in the mental health services sector is hiring for an HR Administrator. This role focuses on supporting the HR team with payroll processing, employee data management, and backlog filing. The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
Location & Work Model: On-site in Markham, ON
Pay Rate: $24/hour
Schedule/Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (7 hours/day)
Contract Duration: 1-month contract with possibility of extension
Key Responsibilities:
Process payroll and manage service desk tickets related to HR requests
Capture and maintain accurate employee information in digital systems
Organize, process, and file employee documents, addressing backlog in digital filing systems
Support new hire onboarding documentation and licensing processes
Assist with HR data tracking and reporting, including use of Excel
Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in handling employee records
Provide general administrative support to the HR team as required
Requirements:
1–2 years of HR administration or coordination experience
Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with digital filing systems; familiarity with PeopleSoft is a strong asset
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience in the non-profit or healthcare sector is an asset but not required
