Summary

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile logs, resolve noncompliant commercial spots per client expectations and schedule make goods.
  • Review orders after approval by General Sales Manager for conflicts; sending orders back for correction as necessary
  • Process orders and process multiple times per day
  • Assemble and edit commercial logs separating client and product conflicts and placing commercials per client contract and obligations
  • Work in tandem with programming department to create commercial clocks and formats
  • Control commercial inventory keeping sales and management updated weekly or more frequent
  • Work closely with local and national sales teams to resolve non availabilities and make goods
  • Book National and Orbyt Media Orders into the Wide Orbit Traffic system
  • Send completed commercial log to programming department at pre-determined time daily to be merged with music log
  • Manage last minute bookings and add to a live commercial log
  • Liaise with Regional Traffic Manager should conflicts or discrepancies arise
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Related experience in broadcast environment
  • Must be a team player and able to work independently
  • Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and client service skills
  • Able to work under pressure of daily deadlines and last minute revisions
  • Good time management skills, able to prioritize duties
  • Able to work with detailed information quickly yet accurately
  • Demonstrates initiative and strong organization skills

Additional Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Wide Orbit 
  • Knowledge of Word and Excel 

 

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
