Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Administrator to join their real estate management team for a short-term, 6-week assignment. This role supports the Property Manager with day-to-day operations, tenant relations, and financial administration. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proficiency in Yardi, and experience managing both accounts payable and receivable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Property Manager with daily operational tasks, tenant correspondence, and regular reporting.
  • Generate and issue purchase orders; reconcile and close open POs monthly.
  • Review, code, and process invoices to ensure timely payment.
  • Prepare weekly payable batches for client processing; follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Support with monthly accruals and respond to vendor payment inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate AR reports; follow up with tenants in arrears and escalate as needed.
  • Reconcile tenant accounts and coordinate adjustments with accounting.
  • Prepare and distribute annual rental notices, year-end reconciliation letters, and chargeback invoices.
  • Track and report retail sales collections.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to tenants, vendors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in property administration with exposure to both accounts payable and receivable.
  • Proficiency in Yardi is required.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, with advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
