Overview

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager to lead our Power Platform team. This is a mission-critical role focused on implementing, governing, and scaling the Power Platform ecosystem across the organization, while also overseeing support for existing Dynamics 365 CRM applications. Reporting directly to the Director of Digital Platforms, you will lead a high-performing team and serve as the key point of contact for Power Platform operations, governance, and adoption.

This role is ideal for a strong communicator and people leader who has directly implemented Power Platform at scale and can drive enterprise-wide success while fostering collaboration across business and technical teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and ongoing operation of the Microsoft Power Platform across the enterprise

  • Design and enforce platform governance frameworks, including environment strategies, DLP policies, security guardrails, and access protocols

  • Build and execute a scalable operational model for environment provisioning, deployment processes, and platform support

  • Create and manage clear documentation, guidelines, and approval workflows for platform usage

  • Oversee a team of 5–6 remote and hybrid staff across Ontario, fostering collaboration and accountability

  • Serve as the key escalation point and liaison between business units, internal IT, cybersecurity, and executive leadership

  • Support and manage existing Dynamics 365 (D365) CRM applications in parallel with Power Platform growth

  • Build a Power Platform Center of Excellence and drive user engagement, training, and citizen development adoption

  • Monitor and report on platform usage, compliance, and adoption trends using the CoE Toolkit

  • Communicate effectively up, down, and sideways — across business stakeholders, peers, and technical teams


Qualifications

Must-Haves

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience implementing Power Platform in a mid-to-large enterprise

  • Proven experience creating and operationalizing Power Platform governance and deployment models

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Pages

  • Experience supporting or managing Dynamics 365 (D365) CRM applications

  • Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)

  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams, especially in remote/hybrid environments

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to create structure, lead process adoption, and enforce secure platform practices

  • Strong familiarity with data protection practices, DLP, and access controls

Nice to Have

  • Microsoft certifications: PL-900, PL-600, MS-900

  • Bilingual (English & French)

  • Experience with Microsoft Dataverse and CI/CD pipelines
