Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a New Accounts Administrator to join their team for a 13 month contract in Markham. This is a hybrid role that is in office 2 days a week.
The New Accounts Administrator is responsible for managing all processes and procedures related to the opening of new accounts. This role requires a highly motivated and energetic individual who can ensure that all requests and inquiries from advisors, clients, and head office are handled accurately and promptly, in accordance with established service level agreements.
Roles and Responsibilities
Opening accounts through the digital platform and directing packages to advisors and clients
Reviewing new accounts for FATCA, CRS, and QI documentation
Setting up e-delivery and online access for new accounts, including statements and trade confirmations
Assisting with the onboarding and transition of new advisors to both MFDA and IIROC dealers
Assisting with NFUs (New Fund Updates) for nominee and client-name accounts
Handling return mail, applying account restrictions, and notifying advisors as required
Updating client information according to the type of account
Ensuring new accounts are opened and transfers are tracked and processed efficiently within established service level agreements
Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a new accounts administration and processing environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Knowledge of Dataphile is considered an asset
