Our Federal Government Client is seeking an experienced content designer to join a multidisciplinary team working on digital products and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and structuring content to ensure it is clear, engaging, inclusive, and user-focused.
You will collaborate closely with designers, researchers, developers, and stakeholders to shape content strategies that align with both user needs and business objectives. Your work will help ensure consistency, coherence, and accessibility across all platforms and channels.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop tone and voice guidelines tailored to specific products or services
Create content strategies and templates for various content types
Design and prototype content formats and layout options
Produce content analysis reports and actionable recommendations
Define information architecture requirements, including site structure and navigation
Develop taxonomies and controlled vocabularies for digital products or systems
Write content for digital products and services, including micro-copy
Create newsletters and other communication materials to support service or product objectives
Qualifications and Skills
Identifying content requirements based on user and business needs
Organizing and labeling content, creating site maps, and designing navigation systems using information architecture best practices
Creating diagrams to illustrate content hierarchy
Developing taxonomies or controlled vocabularies to ensure consistency in information structure
