Our client working in the Non-Profit space is hiring for a Bilingual HR Generalist to join their team on a 11 week contract. The Bilingual HR Generalist will support daily HR operations and contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
This position is starting on an 11 week contract, with a potential to extend. This role is working in a hybrid model, working 3 days onsite per week in Brantford.
Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding HR policies and programs
Support compensation and payroll-related processes
Manage employee documentation and records
Address employee relations issues or escalate as necessary
Maintain accurate HR data using an HR information system (HRIS)
Assist with internal communication of HR initiatives and updates
Stay informed on evolving HR legislation and best practices
Recommend improvements to HR processes and standards
Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding
Administer benefits and pension plans
Support employee engagement and HR-related events
3–5 years of HR generalist experience
Bilingual in French and English is mandatory
Post-secondary education in Human Resources or currently working toward an HR designation
Experience with HRIS systems including ADP, recruitment, compensation, and benefits
Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
