The Compliance, Maintenance & Operational Planning unit is responsible for environmental compliance and construction/maintenance at the City’s solid waste facilities, and operational planning for solid waste collections.
You provide technical assistance to the Solid Waste Compliance Branch through the investigation and solving of technical problems by collecting, analyzing, compiling and producing technical and operational data and related reports, while maintaining compliance with Ministry of the Environment (MOE) guidelines.
Completion of 3 year community college diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental Technology
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Solid Waste field including hydrogeology, computer modelling, mechanical processing of waste and heavy equipment uses
One year of supervisory experience
